Rattle + Porridge Radio + Myles Manley

Dictionary Pudding are delighted to welcome...

Rattle

RATTLE focus almost exclusively on drums and more drums, beneath a delicate overlay of vocal harmonies and percussive effects. Formed by Katharine Eira Brown (also of Kogumaza) and Theresa Wrigley (also of Fists), Rattle began as an experiment in crafting rich songs and melody using drums and voice alone. Their music weaves and intertwines post-punk, minimalism and experimental rock, through off-kilter rhythms, patterns and counter melodies. They released their debut album, Rattle in August 2016 via Upset The Rhythm and I Own You Records. This led to invitations to support Animal Collective on a short UK tour and The Julie Ruin on their European tour. Their live performances, at once hypnotic, monastic and danceable have entranced audiences at recent Supersonic, Supernormal and Sin-Eater festivals. The band are currently working on their second album in their home town of Nottingham, UK and are touring to Spain and Belgium this Summer.

Myles Manley

Myles Manley is an independent popstar band from Ireland. They play minimal pop songs with guitars and drums. Tuneful offbeat combination of austerity and WOOOOO.
To show off the current incarnation's 3-piece sound, the band released a 7" 'Relax; Enjoy Your Night Upon the Town' on Little L Records in Feb 2017. The band has shared stages with Cass McCombs, Fat White Family, Jeffrey Lewis & Sacred Paws amongst others

Porridge Radio
"Reminiscent of The Raincoats ramshackle charm but fused with a slightly more laid back vibe, the Brighton five-piece are a world unto themselves." Clash (tbf they dont sound anything like the raincoats)
