UK Subs + 40 Shillings On The Drums

The Big Blue Shed Presents...

The UK SUBS will be performing at the Hope & Ruin, Brighton on Sunday 12th May.

The U.K. Subs are an English punk band, among the earliest in the first wave of British punk.[2] Formed in 1976,[3] the mainstay of the band has been vocalist Charlie Harper, originally a singer in Britain's R&B scene. They were also one of the first street punk bands.

With special guests 40 Shillings on the Drum

Brighton-based, 40 Shillings on the Drum are currently touring to promote their new single, ‘Mean Streets (Born in the Same Gutter).
The single shows a huge departure from their traditional folk-punk roots, taking a more contemporary, punk-rock sound to new heights.
Their debut studio album, produced by Tommy Gleeson of Feeder (who also mixed the single) is due in late 2019.
