Faking Jazz Together Records Presents

The Hundredth Anniversary // Breathe Panel // TEEFF //

£2 OTD

The Hundredth Anniversary :

‘Sea State Pictures’ is the debut album from The Hundredth Anniversary, recorded by ben hampson in a barn on the outskirts of brighton over the winter of 2015.

Sea State Pictures sees the band explore themes of the body, loss, and finding courage for change - with the album pinpointing a year that saw huge twists and turns for members of the band. the album is an intimate celebration of change and quiet hopefulness, delivered through their precisely structured songs that marry bright guitar lines, rigorous percussion and clear, honest vocals.

Breathe Panel :

Brighton-based Breathe Panel are the latest signings to to the seaside city’s Fat Cat label, and emerge with their roaring first-single-proper, ‘On My Way’.

Having shared stages with the likes of The Big Moon and fellow Brightoners Beachtape already this year, ‘On My Way’ firmly places the quartet in the group of Brighton bands to watch.

The track is lo-fi and cagey, but with more than a few hints of becoming anthemic. Real Estate and Deerhunter are named as some of the band’s key influences, and are worn on their sleeve here. - DIY Magazine

TEEFF sounds like an unexpected, overwhelming affinity with a total stranger in the dim light of an ending party; intimate, uninhibited and enigmatic. Ooozing with honesty, TEEFF combines wavy soundscapes with swaying beats in a contemporary resurrection of 00s RnB. She is a vocalist, songwriter and producer who extends her creativity into all aspects of the project to create symbiotic sonic and visual harmony.
