Mary Ocher + Fröst + Allison's Gate

Love Thy Neighbour Presents:

+ support from FRÖST

Mary has impressed a wide range of artists, from Karen O* to Sean Lennon and Mogwai. Her album "Eden" was produced by Canadian Rock&Roll guru King Khan** and released on two German and two American labels; her work has been featured in and lauded by Rolling Stone, SPEX, Daytrotter Sessions, Radio France, BBC6, Die Zeit and others. It is extremely diverse, ranging from traditional folk to raw 60's garage, punk, ambient with ethereal vocals and abstract synths, to experimental pop with African and South American rhythms.
She has toured North America, SE Asia, AUS, NZ, and all of Europe from Iceland to Russia, along with several UK tours.

The show features two drummers, costumes and projections. The solo performance is intense, raw and absolutely captivating. It is extremely expressive and theatrical.
The new album (title TBA), was produced by Krautrock veteran Hans Joachim Irmler (Faust) and will be released on Klangbad on March 10, 2017. The new recordings feature collaborations with avant-garde masters Die Toedliche Doris, Felix Kubin and Julia Kent.

Mary Ocher gives me the chills, she frightens me with her feral soul... immaculately self possessed. I'm so happy she exists. Set me free Mary!" - Karen O

"Her performances were otherworldy and absolutely breathtaking. I never thought that an alien could combine the magic powers of Bowie, Laurie Anderson, Buffy Sainte-Marie and tie it all together in Kate's bush. She is the Wolf Messiah in sheep's clothing." - King Khan ( on recording together)
