Disruptor: Hyla Brook + Peace In Protest + Dramalove + Throne + Saving Throw

After the success of the debut Disruptor night earlier this year, we're back bigger and better than ever! With a strong mixture of top-quality student bands and high-profile local acts, this gig is going to be one of the biggest parties that November has to offer. Plus, we are in collaboration with The Musical Community Alliance, a non-profit that supports great musical causes!

General Admission tickets are now available in advance from this event page or Eventbrite, and some tickets are reserved to be available on the door. Be sure to Press 'Going' to stay up to date and to hear more information about the artists as we get closer to the event.

A proven riff-machine, Hyla Brook stunned the audience at our last Disruptor night and have rightfully earned a headline slot. Their alternative rock tunes take inspiration from blues, punk, indie-rock and are guaranteed to remain stuck in your head for the next year or two!

Peace in Protest's sound is a combination of their love of the riffs, grooves and energy of Rock music, with a sprinkle of pop on top. Don't miss your chance to see why they have gained notable attention in the local scene and slots on this year’s Alternative Escape and Boardmasters Festivals!

Originally from north Italy, where they've reached the semi-finals of the Italian X-Factor and had the opportunity to team up with well-known artists such as Skin from Skunk Anansie and 2008 BRIT Award Winner MIKA, their energy and unique sound propelled them to headline venues such as the Ramsgate Music Hall and the Tunbridge Wells Forum. Want to see what MIKA saw in them? Come along, you won't be disappointed!

After releasing their first single SUMMERTIME, this diverse unit takes to the stage to give you an intriguing mix of heavy alternative with a rap influence. Tackling 'taboo' subjects such as love, loss, race and equality, expect a rush of adrenaline when they take to the stage! Please note that their name change to 'RENEGADES' is imminent.

Born in the darkest depths of the University of Brighton and raised on a strict diet of organic moss and hand-ground sand, Saving Throw has broken free of the lecture hall and taken to the streets to upset your mum with energetic indiemopunk tunes laced with noise and ibuprofen!

The Hope And Ruin is a local music venue, bar and restaurant located nearby to the Brighton train station. Never failing to host top level artists and please music lovers, The Hope And Ruin is renowned for it's high quality gigs.

This gig is promoted and organised by ABOMM Limited in collaboration with The Musical Community Alliance C.I.C..
