FRANCES MISTRY
Delicate yet self-assured, Brighton-based dream-pop artist Frances Mistry is quietly carving a space for herself in the indie-folk world and making 2025 her biggest year yet. Her third EP, ‘conversations with those i love’, was unveiled in May, and has already racked up hundreds of thousands of streams after being featured on Spotify editorial playlists such as Peach and Fresh Finds Folk. Rooted in personal storytelling, the five-song collection is an intimate snapshot of her life, including her journey with autism. Inspired by the tender honesty of artists like Clairo, Faye Webster and Beabadoobee, Frances Mistry’s music feels both vulnerable and familiar, catching the attention of BBC Radio 1’s Jack Saunders, who hailed her as a “proper, authentic artist”. She performed on the BBC Music Introducing stage at this year’s The Great Escape Festival and has supported the likes of Paris Paloma and Alfie Templeman.
