Hidden Herd Presents:
Thyla + O Hell + Buggs
Brighton rockers Thyla have detailed their debut album, a self-titled, 11-track LP coming Jan. 28, 2022, via Easy Life Records. The band had confirmed a 2021 release for their first full-length earlier this year, but given how this year has gone, the unexpected is expected.
O hell cut their teeth as a songwriter and musician, touring and recording with uk alt bands and as a live guitarist/ bassist for international touring acts. Across 2020, drum machines and recording software began to offer them a new sonic autonomy. O hell is the outcome.
London four-piece Buggs have a sound that sits somewhere between The Breeders and The Beach Boys. Swinging between existential introspection and jovial outward observation, they make sense of the world through surrealist imagery.
Innerstrings is a psychedelic visual artist, specialising in liquid and live feed projections, who has worked with the likes of Crystal Fighters, Bella Union, Sonic Cathedral, Lewes Psychedelic Festival and more.
