Hidden Herd Presents:
Ugly + Lemondaze + Human Interest
London-via-Cambridge six-piece Ugly are purveyors of frenetic, “jangly doom rock” and were the first band signed by Sports Team to their record label, Holm Front. On the back of a string of deservedly hyped releases since 2017, the band have shared stages with the likes of Black Midi, Working Men’s Club and Fur, performed sessions on Distiller TV and The Close Encounter Club, and been championed by DIY, Gigwise and more.
Since forming in 2016, Lemondaze have honed a dark and intense shoegaze sound that combines eruptions of swirling guitars, thunderous bass lines and hypnotic drums. The London-based quartet have received praise from Wolf Alice and Andy Bell (Ride), supported bands such as Gengahr, Hinds and Penelope Isles, and sold out the release party for their dazzling debut EP ‘Celestial Bodies’ in May last year.
East London-based trio Human Interest mix infectious rock ‘n’ roll with tongue-in-cheek wit and an audacious charm. The band formed in between lockdowns in 2020, bringing to life songs penned by lead vocalist and guitarist Cat Harrison. After touring with Self Esteem and playing main support to Hinds and Tribes at the tail-end of last year, the trio are now gearing up to release their debut EP ‘Desire Paths’ on Friday 11th March via Kissability.
Innerstrings is a psychedelic visual artist, specialising in liquid and live feed projections, who has worked with the likes of Crystal Fighters, Bella Union, Sonic Cathedral, Lewes Psychedelic Festival and more.
