LODESTAR

Originally formed in 1996, the band consisted of 3 members of Senser , Heitham Al Sayed – Vocals, John Morgan- Drums and Haggis – Bass and Production. They had left Senser after several years of heavy touring, feeling the need to explore more darker, heavier and melodic musical avenues. Joined by Jules Hodgson on guitar they recorded one album and 2 singles, toured the UK several times and toured with Tool on their Aenima album European tour. After less than 2 years the band would go their separate ways and Lodestar was no more . The ex Senser members would return to join senser at various times . Until…..around 2018 Heitham, John and Haggis started to talk about the idea of doing something together again. Jules Hodgson, now living in the USA, was unable to participate in the writing and recording so the guitar and bass duties fell to Haggis. After a couple years of swapping ideas and laying down tracks, the second Lodestar album was finished. Charlie Beddoes (Nasty Little Lonely, Rub Ultra) was recruited for bass guitar and Haggis swapped over to guitar. The album, Zonen, released in April 2024, sees a long awaited Lodestar return to making records and playing live shows.
