TWISTED TEENS 

Twisted Teens is a New Orleans-based punk band known for its raw, genre-bending sound, described as a mix of folk, punk, blues, garage, and rock and roll. The band’s debut self-titled album, released in April, is characterized by its chaotic energy, esoteric lyrics, and a blend of influences from the Stooges’ “Raw Power” era to Eastern mysticism, according to Atwood Magazine.

Swallowtail is a Brighton-based quartet that emerged from Nottingham, blending elements of shoegaze and post-punk to create a distinctive, atmospheric sound. The band comprises Katie Prescott, Caleb Ryde, Drew Vickerstaff, and Fred Ford. Their music is characterized by a dynamic interplay between noise and clarity, featuring reverb-laden guitars, intricate basslines, and hypnotic rhythms. Influenced by bands like The Twilight Sad, Just Mustard, and Sonic Youth, Swallowtail crafts a sound that is both eerie and elegant .
