Sløtface

Sløtface (first called and still pronounced Slutface) is a Norwegian rock-band-collective led by vocalist and main songwriter Haley Shea.

Sløtface began as a four-piece rock band started by high-school friends Shea, Lasse Lokøy, Tor-Arne Vikingstad and Halvard Skeie Wiencke (Wiencke was later replaced as the main drummer of Sløtface in 2018 by Nils Jørgen Nilsen) in 2012. From 2012-2021 the band in it’s first form released two full length albums, the 2017 debut album “Try Not to Freak Out” and the 2020 follow up “Sorry for the late reply”, 3 EPs, a stripped down mini-album and a handful of singles, before announcing in 2022 that Shea would go on to be the only remaining original member of Sløtface after the amicable departures og Lokøy and Vikingstad.

Sløtface in it’s second and current iteration works as a musical collective, fronted by Shea, who now works in collaboration with the live-band members, along with other songwriters, producers and visual artists to create Sløtface’s sounds, musical releases and art. The live band, who also contribute heavily in creating the music, currently consists of Tobias Maxwell Osland (Hammok) on guitars, Nils Jørgen Nilsen on drums – a member of Sløtface since 2018 (Honningbarna), Simen Følstad Nilsen on guitars (Aiming for Enrike) and Marie Moe on bass ( Razika,Slomosa).

Sløtface will release the EP “AWAKE/ASLEEP” on Feb 24th 2023, the first extended release from the current collective-form. Stay tuned!
