For those unfamiliar with STAY SICK here’s what to expect…

STAY SICK is a monthly trash dance party night held in the ground floor bar of The Hope & Ruin, which has been home for over 7 years! Join us in revving it up for a night of delinquent kicks, DJ’s, dancing and tripped out trashy mondo projections!

Expect an aural trash rock n roll journey that includes sleazy, greasy rock n roll from the 50s including Tarantino-esque surf, boppin rockabilly, swingin’ rhythm and blues and twistin’ shakers, moving on through to 60s primitive garage, snotty 70s punk n roll, 80s new wave and beyond to more modern garagepunk sounds, and anything else that fits in and floats our boat!

This night “goes out to all you Gucci bag carriers out there”, to all you delinquent weird-ohs so you can go-go, shake, bop, pogo, mash, shimmy, watusi and freak to! For Lux and The CrAmPs, our glorious leaders
