SWEET BILLY PILGRIM

Sweet Billy Pilgrim is Jana Carpenter and Tim Elsenburg.

They’ve made five albums since 2004, including the Mercury Music Prize nominated Twice Born Men (released on David Sylvian’s Samadhisound label in 2009), and 2012’s Crown & Treaty (“A stone masterpiece” ***** Mojo Magazine), and their sixth, Somapolis, is due at some point late in 2022.

Somapolis is either a musical map of an imagined city or an X-ray of a broken heart, or both.

They’ve created their work in two garden sheds, one bothy, a small attic and a bedroom.
