Making their mark in the local scene, hard rock band Sypha are a Brighton-based 4 piece with an original sound of melodic and punchy vocals, catchy riffs and hard hitting drums. With influences from swing rhythms, bluesy riffs and classic rock and metal, there’s something for everyone to sink their fangs into. 
 The band is formed of vocalist Alicia Pilling, guitarist Alfred Atkins, bassist Will Cheesman and drummer James Antony. Each taking different musical influences to inject into their sound, their music is both heavy and catchy with classic rock at its roots. 
 ‘Sypha’ was inspired by Castlevania’s Sypha Belnades and the series’ vampiric themes. Sypha was officially formed early 2022.
