Underside

Underside launches a new Music Video “Prey” addressing social stigma in NepalKathmandu, Nepal–[04/04/2024]–After a hiatus, Underside, the pioneering Nepal-based metal band, is making a comeback with their latest music video, “Prey.” The work reflects the band’s dedication to continue creating awareness, empathy and change in mindset for social issues in the community. Itis a tribute to the countless souls who have tragically lost their lives due to the disturbing social stigma that still prevails in Nepali society, often in the name of witchcraft. After three years of dedication to their charity, “Metal For Nepal,” the comeback is a testament to the fueled creative energy that inspired this thought-provoking release. Founded in 2015, the charity brings together the global heavy metal and tattoo community for the welfare and access to education for some of the most disadvantaged children in the Himalayan belt of Nepal. Its dedication to realising the dreams of children in Nepal continues with the “And Computer For All” campaign, which strives to provide computer literacy to children in need. Underside’s music is, therefore, a reflection of their belief and work for awareness, empathy, and ultimately, a change in mindset. The return to the music scene for Underside is highly anticipated as they will be playing again in theUK Download Festival 2024 followed by a tour in the UK.Watch their new release “Prey”-here.For more information about Underside and Metal For Nepal, please visit @undersidenepal, @metalfornepalorg.Underside is a groundbreaking metal band based in Nepal, known for their powerful music and unwavering commitment to social change.
